For years I used to say, “In another life, I'd be a photographer.”
Then one day, here in San Miguel, someone turned to me and simply asked, “Why not in this life?”
Photography has turned out to be a perfect fit. It satisfies my instinct to wander, to pause and gaze, to reflect, or to quickly capture a moment that moves, amuses, or intrigues me -- because I know how quickly it can pass.
San Miguel has been the ideal place to nurture this passion. Its vibrant colors, colonial architecture, and of course the iconic fairytale - like pink Parroquia provide endless inspiration.
The city also pulses with cultural richness. From street parades and traditional festivals, to the quiet elegance of everyday life, it has deepened my appreciation for storytelling through images. Most of the photographs were taken in San Miguel, Ciudad de Guanajuato, and Ciudad de México, and recent travels in Europe.
